Lets Chat: Christmas traditions

So in my house every Christmas we have certain traditions that we follow. On Christmas eve we have an appetizer supper, go to Church,  and when we come home we read the Christmas story from the bible, watch movies and then go to bed. As kids we were allowed to stay up as late as wanted; since it meant that Mom could sleep in. Now I have found that I still enjoy those same traditions that I did as a kid. As adults do we bring them in because we like them or do we do it because we think it is expected of us to hold onto? My question to you my readers is, what traditions have you brought with you into your life as an adult that you like to follow and what traditions would you like to give up?
